one hot baby...

sunday morning drew woke up feeling pretty warm. we took his temp, and it was a flaming 102.7. his worrisome mom called the doc immediately, if not sooner. and our wonderful pediatrician was actually on call and responded within five minutes. because he didn't have any other symptoms, she didn't think it was an emergency. she suggested tylenol and fluids for the remainder of the day, and then come see her on monday morning.


well, long story short wednesday will be day four fighting "influenza B" (seven days is average). i was home with him yesterday, josh was home with him today and i'll be on duty for the rest of the week. he's a little clingy, but as you can see in this picture isn't really affected until bedtime. the congestion makes it a little difficult to simultaneously breath, sleep and chomp on the pacifier.
