saturday snoozefest...

drew woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 6:15am. we had breakfast, watched cartoons and played all morning. he didn't seem interested in his usual morning nap, so when swimming lessons came around he was getting a little fussy.

but as soon as we got into the water, he was awesome! today was the first day the kids actually went underwater. he did so good, no tears whatsoever. only the very last time he swam to the teacher, did he actually swallow a little water - but it wasn't dramatic at all.

we rushed off to a pre-game pep rally at snuffers with dad and erin and ate the world's best-tasting/worst-for-you cheese fries and cheeseburgers. and since both the a&m basketball and stars hockey games were essentially over before they even started, we crashed on the couch for some much needed zzzzz.....
