nothing’s more precious and exhausting than a child’s birthday party. drew was invited to two this month and i’m glad we were able to join the celebrations.
the first was at pump it up in frisco for a co-worker’s 3-yr-old daughter, miss allie. drew was definitely one of the youngest there and it took awhile for him to get used to the bouncy house idea. but once he warmed up, we all had a blast. funny, he still has no interest in birthday cake. i even tried to tell him it was a biscuit….no luck!
and last weekend, we enjoyed BEAUTIFUL weather at a fire truck party in frisco for a childhood friend’s 4-year-old, ethan. again, drew was a little apprehensive around the older kids and i think the horns on the truck were overwhelming. but we took a ride around the neighborhood and then enjoyed the slide at the park nearby.
