i hate that the weekends go by soooo fast…but, boy did we have a good one. drew had his 9 month check up friday afternoon. no shots this time, just a little finger prick for a routine blood test. otherwise, all is well for the healthy little guy – 23 lbs, 29 in. josh didn’t get home until late, since jason and lee had been in town learning all about the pharm business. drew and i walked around the block and played in the yard. the weather had been beautiful all week and was actually expected to stick around for the weekend.
saturday drew slept until 8:30am…praise him!! i got the weekend grocery shopping out of the way, we played outside and then packed up Drew to go visit aunt D and uncle T for the evening. josh and i went to see Up, another pixar classic/must see! went to dinner at Uncle Julio and got a table on the patio! and then, did a little pre-vacation shopping!
sunday was a little lazy, but a lot of fun. we took drew to the best pool in the neighborhood after his morning nap. he had a blast splashing around, swimming with daddy and watching all the kids play. we came home and took our typical sunday afternoon/nascar nap while watching the pocono race. after dinner and a bath, we are ready for another week…just so we can get to the weekend again…;)
thankfully, josh and i got a little sun….we certainly needed it. just 11 days until we are off for some much needed beach vacation!!!

ps- don't let drew pick up any ladies there... adelaide is waiting for him here in texas!
