while drew’s napping this afternoon (exhausted from playing with all his new toys!), i’m hoping to get in a quick blog about the wildly successful FIRST birthday party for my little monkey boy.
he worked the crowd like a pro, loving on everyone who had come from near and far to celebrate his special day. he wasn’t thrilled about the birthday cake or getting his little paws dirty, so he fed it to josh instead. and in the spirit of preseason football, josh iced his cheeks with chocolate frosting.

Drew had a wonderful first birthday for sure. Lots of love, gifts and hugs to go around. We would not have missed it. Love you and can't wait to get more sugar from drew bear very soon.
Oh sooooo cute! I love the cake pictures! He doesn't look interested at all! Are you sure he is related to us? I also love your hair! Hope Drew likes his camo pants that Cousin Joe picked out and his book about Farmer Brown! So sad we missed it!
