nothing seems to cause as much anxiety as daycare’s number showing up on the caller id in the middle of the day. on thursday afternoon, i’d been out doing some store visits and was actually on the phone with my boss when kids r kids called...drew had a fever of 101.4…a small sigh of relief, as i’m usually thinking he’s busted his chin, fell on the playground, etc.
he’s been congested for a few weeks and is also teething, so who knows what’s causing the fever?? but, i’m immediately on my way to pick up the little guy. thursday evening was pretty rough, but he slept fine and woke up feeling pretty good. however, he’s not able to return to school until he’s been fever-free for 24 hours, so here’s a snapshot of our friday…
