home sweet home...

after spending all week working (and dodging tornadoes) in arkansas, it was sooo nice to be home this weekend and sleep in my own bed. the weather report called for rain, so we planned to stay indoors for the most part. josh experimented with a marinade on some beef tenderloin filets he grilled saturday night and i made squash, zucchini and red potatoes. then we watched we are the night with mark wahlberg and joaquin phoenix -- pretty good flick if you haven't seen it.

while we were in abilene over easter weekend, we ordered furniture for baby ya-ya. so sunday we watched a little nascar, but spent most of the day cleaning out the office to prepare the baby room. josh had marinated chicken breasts, so we grilled again. it never did rain, so we sat on the back porch, drank a bottle of wine..well, josh did...and just enjoyed the weather.

the forecast this week calls for severe weather and more tornadoes...for the love of spring!!
