travelin' fool...

over 7,000 air miles in 10 days...from Bentonville, AR to Philadelphia, PA and finally out to Palm Springs, CA for our annual corporate business conference. i just got back last night and I am exhausted. we had a great time though -- peyton manning was a guest speaker during one of our sessions (that's him there in the middle), dana carvey was the entertainment for our awards dinner and wycliff jean performed at our blu-ray victory shin-dig...funtimes!!

so, the friday before I left for Cali we had our 2nd sonogram (oops, i forgot to scan the pictures today). much to everyone else's dismay, we elected NOT to find out the baby's gender. i don't know that the nurse could have determined if we wanted her to anyway. "the peanut" was moving around sooooooo much, it seemed like she was chasing him/her around my belly with the ultrasound wand. she did manage to get a pretty good profile shot, which I'll scan next week. baby is DEFINITELY growing -- weighing in a little ahead of schedule and i had a pretty significant growth spurt == gained 7 pounds in 4 weeks. i was catching up on my dancing with the stars episodes last night and i swear the baby could hear the music and was actually practicing the mambo in my belly (at least it felt like it).

anyway, the weather is supposed to be beautiful tomorrow and sunday and we have nothing on the agenda...I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited!! maybe a little gardening, fine dining, hopefully watching the stars WIN, a few naps here and there and possibly some shopping. sounds like my kind of weekend!!
