the forecast called for triple digit temps all weekend, so i knew we weren't going to spend much time outdoors. instead we spent the weekend shopping, eating, cleaning and napping. love it!!
friday night we headed to southlake town square for dinner at cafe express and then went to see batman: the dark knight. it was great, a MUST SEE!!
saturday we went on a shopping spree at babies r us to get all of the little things we still needed for baby (thanks dad!!). after a long afternoon nap, i was re-energized and josh and i went to pei wei for dinner followed by a trip to best buy. josh found some movie he'd been looking for and then busted me playing weezer's "say it ain't so" on the Rock Band drums...HA!
sunday i made pancakes for breakfast and started cleaning. "are you nesting?" josh says every time i pick up anything. we got all of the baby clothes, bedding and blankets washed, cleaned the pantry and kitchen to make room for bottles, nursing supplies and bath stuff, and josh installed the car seats in both vehicles. i'd say we're both nesting!!
we just had lunch and now it's time for the nascar race nap...:)
