CJY: volume one

confession: i take hundreds of pictures every month.

shocking? maybe, maybe not.

some never make it off of the memory stick and others are just buried in folders on a hard drive. i don’t have time to scrapbook and couldn’t possibly frame them all. so after a year’s worth of pictures with drew, i decided to create a keepsake photo book with blurb.com to highlight all of the events and adventures of his year one. i even had it available for all of his birthday party attendees to sign, just like an old high school yearbook, and thus started the tradition.

well, callie turns ONE on saturday! and just-in-time, i completed her volume one. here’s a recollection of the year our family joyfully grew from three to four with the addition of my most precious callie girl.

my next photo challenge is to replicate this collage featured on ashley ann’s under the sycamore blog. it was actually just a backdrop for one of her amazing craft projects, but it’s definitely been added to my project list. it’s such a great way to showcase lots and lots of pictures.

what do you with all your pictures?

Love those photo books! So much easier than scrap-booking, but you still have all the memories.

Oh Erica - you out did yourself on this one! Maybe it is the subject! LOVE IT and I must have one to remember Callies first year just like Drews. YOU have got to do a collage wall like AshleyAnns - love that!such a great way to show and most of all enjoy all the pictures and stages of your family.
