many blessings…

    

BABY No. 3. well maybe not so obvious, but this photo shoot was intended to be our big reveal that miss callie jane is going to be a BIG SISTER. yep, WE ARE EXPECTING another baby yarger in the fall. we were able to see the little olive last week and everything looks perfect. so blessed.

as for the photo shoot, the bribery required to get one sweet boy to wear a polo shirt instead of a Cars t-shirt for one hour is unfathomable. plus, the west texas wind had it’s own agenda and CJ was less than cooperative. such is the daily lesson of motherhood and patience.

regardless, I know CJ is going to be a great big sister. she already has such a maternal sweetness and is as bossy as they come. as for drew, he’s already a great big brother and might be subtly wishing for a little brother.

BIRTHDAY No. 34. we have a lot of family birthdays this month, but it’s no secret this Aries is my favorite. his birthday actually falls on Easter this year, so we celebrated last night with his favorite german chocolate cake. callie gave him a little pep talk, before she and drew carefully placed all the candles on the cake. then he and drew counted all THIRTY FOUR of them and made a wish.

BUNNIES. We are off to spend the rest of the afternoon rejoicing with family. These little bunnies will surely be counting eggs and consuming more candy after their third hunt of the season.

All the while, I’ll be counting my many many many blessings.
