in many ways (some good and some not so good) we see ourselves in each of the kiddos. callie is passionate and independent, and drew is imaginative and gentle. but my absolute favorite is the many ways in which these little beings are not like us at all.

they are messy. they are delightfully silly. they are innocent. and they wholeheartedly live in the moment. and the best part for me is learning to wholeheartedly embrace these precious and often challenging moments each and every day.

we’ve found some great activities in the community and some equally entertaining projects at home. like this homemade paint party in the bathtub last week. at any moment we are all laughing or crying, or both, but I’m loving these precious and challenging days - which leave me very little time to blog.
