my birthday wish…

 

I recently read that we need 4 hugs a day for survival, 8 hugs a day for maintenance and 12 hugs a day for growth. It reminded me of this poem from Shel Silverstein that I made a copy of probably 15 years ago, which I still have on my refrigerator.

I will not play at tug o'war.
I'd rather play at hug o'war,
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.

Hug someone you love today. In fact, go ahead and hug them four times!!
