i’m getting a little anxious about getting drew transitioned into his new room and preparing the nursery with less than 10 weeks before “her” arrival.
drew’s moving across the hall and going with a planes, trains and automobiles theme. i found his bedding at target, so he’s already saving me money over his sister, whose bedding we found at pottery barn kid$. josh and molly are going to paint horizontal racing stripes on his wall this weekend and his new bed and dresser will be in next week. hoping to get him all moved before the end of the month, so he doesn’t feel like he’s been booted from “his” room.
and here are a few pieces of inspiration for the new beach-themed nursery. we’ll keep the walls light green and use the same furniture that is already in the room…the less we have to move/do, the better. oh, and i think we’ve finally decided on a name…stay tuned!

I love it. Drew is moving up to a big boy room to make room for his little seeester! Can't wait to see his finished room this weekend.
ooooh I love the girly beach room!! She is going to be a beach girl from the beginning! also, the pictures of Drew at the airshow are priceless!! thats where dreams are made (says Joe)
