i’ve got a feeling…

…that’s tonight’s gonna be a good good night!

debra and tom picked up drew from school on friday so josh and i could have a date night. it had been awhile, so we were excited and it turned out to be a total indulgence of the senses as we tooled around southlake town square.

first stop (of course) was food. there was no way i was going to make it through a movie without some grub...and what better place to gorge the taste buds than snuffers bar and grill.

burger2it was my turn to pick the movie (i think i get to choose about one in every five…hahaha) and was undecided between robin hood and iron man 2. because of the timing, i opted for robin hood and it did not disappoint. while the disney version will ALWAYS be my favorite, i really enjoyed the sights and sounds of this ridley scott classic. it was pretty long (2.5 hours) but a fresh/different perspective, telling the story of how robin hood becomes an outlaw…anyway, i give it 4 of 5 stars!

luck for me, anthropologie was still open after the movie ended. it always smells soooo good in that store, usually because of the ol’ reliable and amazing volcano candle by capri blue. but this time, i think i may have found a new favorite. this sweet pea & vanilla is a rich, sweet scent of vanilla and aromatic blooms that is suppose to last for 80 hours. and i love that my house now smells like anthropologie…if i could only get them to come decorate!

funny how all roads lead back to food -- at least mine do – for two more months. before heading home, we stopped by milwaukee joe’s for a night-cap sweet treat. ice cream!!!!

we certainly savored the evening, since it might be awhile before we have another date night…love you babe!
