when i randomly found out randy rogers (my FAV!) and wade bowen (who i am) were playing an acoustic show in abilene on tuesday night, it was my much needed motivation. josh would be working in abilene/albany anyway and we needed to look at rental houses, check out day cares and could use a date night.
so i packed up the little ones and we drove to abilene on tuesday afternoon. lucky me, they slept the entire trip and we were welcomed into town with mid-70 temperatures, a HUGE thunderstorm and flooding rains -- much better than the 100 degree blazing heat we left in keller!
we had dinner with the family that night and everyone got to meet baby callie. then molly watched the little ones, while we enjoyed the show, twirled around the dance floor and drank a few with some of the cousins.
